My lords and Ladies, we desire your opinion on the possible theme for a new event to be held back in the Gig Harbor area.

I have been asked by many to start a Pirate event and that would be lots of fun, however I want to keep the Renaissance theme as well as it is a period that appeals to me personally.

We are working on the concept of a Pirate Summit called by Grace O'Malley the Irish Pirate Queen of the mid 1500's. this summit would take place in a Renaissance village it would still include a jousting area as well as many nautical themes.

We have approached a number of new performance groups of the highest quality to be part of this new event. Many of the most popular acts from the Gig Harbor Faire will be invited back. An invitation to all pirate groups in the area will be extended. Our goal is simply to provide a most wondrous and delightful day or weekend of entertainment, merriment and to bring back some of the magic of the Gig Harbor Renaissance fantasy Faire.
