Please indicate which Guild you would be interested in auditioning for. All Guilds require auditions, and each Guild has separate costume requirements. After you've applied, we'll put you in contact with the Guild you wish to audition for. Also, anyone interested in working as a puppeteer can e-mail Teresa Cleveland at: bryonm@washingtonrenfaire.com. If you are part of a performance group that has been hired into Faire, you do not need to fill this application out, but you will be required to show proper ID at the gate, and carry a Participant's Card. Anyone wishing only to volunteer behind the scenes can fill out the Volunteers' Application located on this website. Applications are not a guarantee of being accepted into the Performing Arts Department, or any Guild housed within the Performing Arts Department. All accepted Volunteer Actors will pay a yearly fee of $20.00. This entitles Volunteer Actors to free Workshops and Classes in preparation for the Faire, as well as free admission and camping during the Faire season. Those not pre-registered will be expected to pay full admission to enter the Faire as a patron, and will also pay all patron camping fees. No volunteer, actor or performer shall be admitted to site without signed hold harmless agreement.Special note: All Faire participants must fill out the appropriate applications or forms and pre-register with Faire prior to opening date of faire. Any actors, performers or volunteers who do not pre-register, will not have gate passes and will be expected to pay full admission price. All minors must provide a signed hold harmless agreement and permission slip on file or they will not be permitted to remain on site. We must have each participant's information on file for our legal requirements, there will be no exception.
Hold Harmless Agreement
The undersigned hereby agrees to hold harmless, the Washington Renaissance Fantasy Faire, the Village Artist, Partytime Entertainment, Inmedco Inc., any staff there-of, or any person involved with the Washington Renaissance Faire, for any or all damages to persons and property resulting from acts of God, theft, vandalism, injury or medical emergency.
Further: the above mentioned persons, group or organization, shall be held harmless from any cause or action, claim or petition, filed in any court or administrative tribunal, arising out of said event, including all costs, attorneys fees, judgments or awards.
The undersigned hereby also agrees to abide by all rules or laws and shall cooperate with rules and guidelines provided by security or event staff.

I, the (parent / guardian) of above mentioned minor agree to the terms of the above hold harmless agreement in exchange for the concession, which allows my (son / daughter) to participate in the Washington Renaissance Fantasy Faire. I also agree to allow the staff and qualified medical personal to care for, treat, or authorize treatment and or transportation for my (son or daughter) and act as my agent in the care and treatment, up to and including the attachment of debt liability in said care and treatment.
I hereby state and declare that there are no specific needs. Additional problems or concerns regarding my (son / daughter) which may be the cause of special concerns to the staff or management of the Faire. I therefore agree to all the terms set forth herein.
